Meet Levi, our only Male Semi-Puppy

I've posted about our 2 new puppies, Choco and Minzy, who we nicknamed "Negra" because she was the darker version of Choco. Now, I wanted to also blog about our semi-puppy Levi. I call him "semi-puppy" because he still looks like a puppy to us even when he's over 4 months old.

Levi was given to us last year, around November. He was so small when he was brought to us that I pitied him because I felt that he needed to still be with his mom so he can breastfeed. He was too small that he can fit inside our old hamster's cage. Even when he was still a baby, we knew he'd grow longer as he grow older because his parents were of the Dachshund breed. And I even thought he was a girl because he had an acne on chest. Good thing he was a male dog because all our dogs are females.

Even when he was a really small puppy, he was sweet and lovable. He was also very smart because he started to poop and pee outside our house, near our front gate, without anyone potty-training him. But, he was a bit shy that he always gave me a hard time whenever I wanted to take a photo of him. Here are some of those photos I took of li'l Levi:

levi1He can't even look at the camera. And he was trembling during this photo shoot because he was afraid of heights (table top) when he was a puppy. levi2Caught him yawning. Really cute. Right after this photo, I grabbed him and wanted to pinch him all over because he's just adorable!
levi3 Before I was able to take this shot, he kept on running away from me. I got tired and said, "Parang awa mo na, tumigil ka naman!" (Please, stop running!). Immediately, like he understood me, he went to this spot, sat himself down and looked at the camera. LOL! Love him! levi4 Levi trying to act like a big dog. He was barking at someone at the gate like he was one scary dog. That scar on his body was caused by our other dog, Cleo, who might have been jealous of him that's why she bit him hard enough to pull off some of Levi's fur. We moved Cleo away from him since.

Levi grew up a spoiled dog because we all loved him so much that we can't resist his cuteness. He knew exactly what we want of him and he's truly a sweet dog. My dad and him were very close to the point that my dad would let him sleep beside him. Just look at this photo. He even used my dad's arm as his pillow.

levi5My dad nicknamed him "Japok" for some reason I don't know. We didn't want Levi getting used to it so we continued to call him Levi. Now, he seems to know that my dad calls him Japok and the rest of us call him Levi. He responds to both names LOL.

Now that we've got 2 new puppies at home (Choco and Minzy), he's got new playmates and he's no longer our baby. He does show he's jealous of the attention we give the 2 new puppies, but, we make sure Levi knows we still love him and he's still a baby to us. He's still as sweet as he was before the 2 came. He likes to lick everyone's foot, especially when we just woke up. It's like his way of greeting us, "Good Morning!". LOLz.

Here are a few more photos of Levi. He's a pretty funny dog so we can't help but take more photos of him. He's just adorable!

levi6My brother took this photo of him during one of the hottest days last month. It was too hot that Levi can't close his mouth properly because the upper lip gets stuck on his dry gums. LOL levi7Another photo of him with the dry gums. LOL. Levi is no longer shy, as you can see. Hehehe. This is a pretty funny photo of him that one can use it to lighten up a gloomy day. LOL
levi8 This is how long and big he is now. Gosh.
But, he still thinks he's a baby so he always wants to be hugged or held by us.
levi9I just took this last night. Just look at him. He's all grown-up that he even has this semi-facial hair like a mustache and beard. LOL.

Do you have a pet dog? I'd love to see your photos of them. Leave a comment here on this post with a link to your blog post or photo of your dog/s and I'll put up a link love section on this post for all dog lovers out there.
