One of our new puppies, Minzy, has been having bowel troubles. I know, it does sound disgusting, but if you see her, you'll pity her. Just look at her photo below.
She's very playful and 2 days ago, because she can't poop as easily as before, she seemed a bit weakened by it. We noticed some kind of rash on her butt and we knew it was because we needed to add more fiber to her diet to help her with this problem.
My friend, who's a veterinarian, gave us a prescription for the best hemorrhoid treatment for Minzy. We already applied it to the infected area a day ago and Minzy seemed to be doing better. She's back to her playful self again, but we're still observing if she'll poop as normally as before. We didn't see her poop last night 'coz we were fast asleep. Good thing we're all at home because of the Holy week so someone can look out for Minzy's poop time to see if she no longer experiences problems doing a number 2.
Good thing we've got 2 nurses here at home - my mom and my brother. They're feeding her fruits and vegetables to help her with this. If the problem persists, we'll bring her to Doc Cheng for a complete checkup. I'll post an update as soon as Minzy's okay.
Minzy is really cute. Feed her with pineapple if possible because it is rich in fiber.
