Charice Officially Joins Glee

No, this is no longer a rumor, but, it's freaking official.

CHARICE will be on Glee Season 2!!

She tweeted about it to confirm the news and I almost fainted on my laptop when I read it last night (I'm not kidding! I love her and the show!). I'm so happy for her and I know all of her fans and our fellow countrymen are so proud of her achievements.

She said when the rumor first came out that she'll be on Glee, it wasn't true. But, she auditioned afterwards and made it.

Well, now, I don't really believe that it was a rumor. I think they were testing the waters and leaked that rumor to the public to see how everyone would react. I'm guessing they saw a lot of people were really happy about it, so, they decided to continue with it. Hmmm... or am I just too skeptical?! *LoL*

Anyway, I love, love, love Charice. I liked her more than the guy who won against her on the singing show she joined years ago. But, I guess things really happen for a reason. And look at Charice now!

I'm a Gleek though I haven't really blogged about their show here. I was a singer and a dancer back in my younger years so I really enjoy their show, especially their versions of really old songs. I love Rachel Berry (Lea Michele),  Mercedes Jones (Amber Riley), Puck (Mark Salling) and Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison). Charice joining Glee as Rachel's nemesis is icing on my cake. I can't wait for Season 2! Too bad Glee won't be back 'til September. Argh!

I've blogged about how much I love Charice before. And that still stays true up to now. I really believe she deserves all the success and fame she's experiencing now. She's so freaking talented.

And to those people who are hating on her for making it to the show, just give her a FREAKING chance. She's 18 years old and she's got a lot of time to improve on everything – the way she interviews, her acting, her performance, etc. And, unlike most of us, she got people who STRONGLY believe in her and her talent (that includes Oprah Winfrey and David Foster) that they'd do anything to help her be a triple threat. Let's just see what's going to happen. Anyway, if her being on the show doesn't click, I don't think they'll keep her there.

Now, my only hope for Charice is that people around her will stop using her. Take Kris Aquino, for example, and everyone on ABS-CBN. They didn't bother to help her with her career when she lost to that other guy (I don't want to mention his name here, sorry). But, now that Charice is so popular in the USA, suddenly, everyone loves her and wants to be close to her. Sheesh.

Charice is a very sweet and respectful young woman, so, I know there'll be people who'll try to use her for their own sake. I just hope they won't succeed.

Charice, good luck! I can't wait to see you on Glee in September! Woohoo!
