FilesBay – Very Useful File Search Engine

Because of our internet cafe business, Mai and I barely have time to watch TV at home. Well, our internet cafe is just right in front of our house, but, still, the only times we get to watch TV is when we're preparing for dinner or when we're to open at noon.

Good thing there are people who upload torrents or copies of my favorite TV series online so we can download and enjoy watching them at our own time. But, with the vast number of sites out there that offer downloading of TV shows and other files, plus the fact that not all the files or videos you want to download are in one place, it can be a bit hard to find them. Good thing I found out about FilesBay.

FilesBay FilesBay is a file search engine that can help you find the things you want to download on the various torrent and file-hosting websites out there. It makes searching really easy, especially when you're doing a Rapidshare search, like what I used to do when I can't remember the URL of where I downloaded a digital scrapbooking kit.

When you get to the FilesBay site, you'd be welcomed with the most popular searches. You'd get to see what most people search for and you might even like some and download them yourself.

When you type in a search, you can even choose or narrow down the search based on file types like videos, pictures, or all types. You can also select which file-hosting site you want to search for a particular keyword.

FilesBay can help you search for files uploaded on RapidShare, Hotfile, MegaUpload, FileFactory, and even my file-host of choice, 4Shared.

The search results look like this:

FilesBay FringeThere's the filename, the website where the file is hosted on, and the file size. Easy, right? You don't have to go through all those file-hosting websites to search. FilesBay can do it for you.

I also like FilesBay's specialized section for searching for torrents. There, you can check out which torrent file is being seeded the most so you can finish your downloads faster.FilesBay Torrent Search

You can also sign up, if you choose to. However, as of this writing, signing up doesn't really give you any benefit. I hope they can include a way for those who signed up to view their past searches. This way, we can just use those searches to, well, check for new files uploaded using that keyword we used.

Tell me, what have you recently downloaded from the web? Mine? The latest episode of Top Chef Masters Season 2.
