I've posted a few weeks ago about how our home here in Malabon badly needs a reconstruction after typhoon Ondoy. We have a termite infestation here and we're afraid that this rainy season will cause the problem to worsen. We're still hoping we'll be financially capable to complete the whole renovation by next month.
Speaking of renovations, Mai's family's house in Cebu was recently repainted and redesigned. I can't find any other before photos of the house, but this one with Mama Ging and Mai's niece, Gillian:
From the photos, you could see the color of the house paint and the flaws on the wall and the gate. After the renovation, this is how the house looks like now:
The kitchen area was also renovated. Mama Ging wanted Moen kitchen faucets to make the whole kitchen area more welcoming and fun. The sliding doors were also a recent addition after we closed our internet cafe in Cebu.
She also bought new furniture and new appliances (stove, 2-door refrigerator). I love the new sofa!
I hope we can also afford a renovation of our house here in Malabon. We badly need to have the ceilings reconstructed, a new sofa set, and new paint!
