About Plate Numbers

Mai's family has their own car in Cebu. She's usually the designated driver so I get to sit at the front passenger seat. And, one of the things I like checking out are the plate numbers of the vehicles that cruise alongside us. It's one of my weird habits, but, when I do see a funny vanity or special plate number, I make sure I get a laugh or two from people in the car with me. Hehehe.

I found out that aside from personalized or vanity plate numbers, there are also what they call private number plates that are being used by U.K. motorists. Considering the number of people who own or buy cars every year, it's expected that they run out of combinations so they come up with different sets of plate numbers for people to use.

I've mentioned in a past post that we're planning on buying a van that can fit my whole family and Mai's, too. I know it's expensive to get one of those specialized or vanity plate numbers, but, wouldn't it be fun to get something like these?
