Our Fifth Anniversary Celebration

Last Wednesday, Mai and I celebrated our 5th Anniversary. This is the scrap page I designed, which I had to finish quickly while she was in the shower. LOLz.

  5th-year
The texts are from the lyrics of one of my favorite songs, "I'd Rather" by Luther Vandross. :)

Mai, on the other hand, surprised me 2 days before this special day with this:

It's not a dozen, but, 18 roses! I counted!

And, she also brought me breakfast in bed. She's been meaning to cook me pancakes for weeks and she finally got the chance to do it without me knowing. LOLz. She woke up early just to prepare me this.

Breakfast in Bed – Pancakes and Bacon! I forgot to take a photo before I started eating it. LOLz. We shared this plate.

We also went out on Wednesday. We had lunch at Bigby's Restaurant in SM Mall of Asia. We also dined at French Baker in the afternoon. We had too much to eat that day that Mai and I were laughing at each other, saying we'll be needing diet pills for women after everything we ate. LOLz.

I'll post more photos of our food trip on our food blog. We enjoyed everything even when we were full the whole day. LOLz. We shopped for a few things before we headed out to the grocery. We met up with my brother and Nanay since they were just around the corner after they renewed their passports. We headed home together. All in all, it was a fun day.

Let me share with you 2 photos of us that day. I won't be posting the food photos here. Just check Certified Foodies for our restaurant reviews. :)

Lunch at Bigby's Restaurant. It was too freaking bright outside the restaurant so pardon the lighting. Hehehe.
