Red Lights

Because of the recent changes in my life (ooh, my ultimate favorite song!), I needed to also redecorate my bedroom. I feel it's one of the important parts of my new beginnings. I need to slowly try to forget and that starts with things around me that remind me of the pain.

When I was still working in a call center, as usual, I sleep in the morning 'til the afternoon. It was real hard because the sun's shining so brightly outside. So, I decided to do this:

Yes, those are Naruto posters. Some are Final Fantasy posters. No, they weren't my choice of design or my favorite anime characters. In fact, I actually don't watch anime. Just wanted to clear that up.

Anyway, I chose red art paper to cover my windows because I like the effect it brings to my room. It gives this illusion that I have some kind of red chandeliers as my source of light. I love red lights, except when I'm on the road. Red lighting calms me down and makes me sleep well for some reason. I'm actually thinking of buying red lamps or lights for my room that I can use alternatively with the flourescent light already installed in there. That way, even at night, there'll be red light in my room.

'Til I see a red lamp or light that suits my room, I just have to remove all those posters and have them replaced with new red art paper.
