Over a week ago, a cousin of mine asked for my help with her diploma thesis. She is graduating this October and she wanted me to proofread her work and to criticize it for her. It's been awhile since I last proofread something so I happily accepted the task.
She's taking up BS Computer Engineering (course I finished in college, by the way) so it's right up my alley. The task didn't involve me having to know what their design project was all about anyway. I already finished proofreading it. She was a little frazzled so I decided to help her out. She told me about her partner in the design project telling her to look for people who make or write custom thesis since they didn't really have a lot of time. They almost resorted to that, but I'm glad my cousin was able to complete their thesis all by herself.
I remember back when I was in college, after we finished our design project presentation, our professor asked if he can use our work as a sample thesis for the next trimester. He said we're the only ones who wrote our thesis ourselves. *LOL* Yes, there are a lot of people in our school who offer thesis-writing as a service. I was even helping one of them proofread their work. I get a commission, of course. *LOL*
I know, we shouldn't even tolerate students having their thesis written or conceptualized by someone else. But, we can't really blame them. I just hope they all really review the thesis they bought or asked someone else to complete. Otherwise, their years of studying will be a waste if they graduated without knowing what to do with what they've accomplished and completed so far. Don't you agree?!
