In my last post, I said I wanted to start my very own 30-day challenge. I spent the last hour looking for possible themes or topics for my very first run and I found a ton of them that I actually liked, but there were just a few tasks that might be a li’l off-putting for those who do read my blog. But, I’ve decided to do it anyway (why did I even bother explaining, eh?).
I decided that for my first 30-day challenge, I’ll go for something movie-themed. Here’s what I found:
day 01 – your favorite movie
day 02 – your least favorite movie
day 03 – a movie that makes you happy
day 04 – a movie that makes you sad
day 05 – a movie that reminds you of someone
day 06 – a movie that reminds you of somewhere
day 07 – a movie that reminds you of a certain event
day 08 – a movie that you know like the back of your hand
day 09 – a movie that you can cuddle to
day 10 – a movie that makes you fall asleep
day 11 – a movie with your favourite actor/actress
day 12 – a movie your least favourite actor/actress
day 13 – a movie that is a guilty pleasure
day 14 – a movie that no one would expect you to love
day 15 – a movie that describes you
day 16 – a movie that you used to love but now hate
day 17 – a movie that you hear often hear about on tv and magazines
day 18 – a movie that you wish you could watch again
day 19 – a movie from your favorite genre
day 20 – a movie that you watch that makes you angry
day 21 – a movie that you watch with friends
day 22 – a movie that watch alone
day 23 – a movie that you want to tell everyone about
day 24 – a movie that you want to play at your funeral
day 25 – a movie that makes you laugh
day 26 – a movie that you can act out word for word
day 27 – a movie that you wish you could star in
day 28 – a movie that makes you feel guilty
day 29 – a movie from your childhood
day 30 – your favorite movie at this time last year
It’s been a month since I last saw a movie at a cinema. Most of the time, I admit, I download them or borrow DVDs from a friend.
I’m not really a movie buff, but I do enjoy watching with like-minded people who I can have discussions with after the credits start to roll. One of my best movie buddies is, of course, my bro Ken.
Ken and I can talk for hours about a movie we just watched on our way home or after we’re both done enjoying the flick in our own rooms, together or with our nanay. It’s really funny that we seem to relate to each other’s stories of how the movie affected us or reminded us of a moment in our lives. I guess that goes to show how close we are now.
Anyway, this 30-day challenge will be difficult for me since I usually forget the titles, even of the ones I loved. But, hey, that’s the whole point of this, right? To have the discipline. And that would include researching on what those movies were. This might inspire me to watch them again. Oh, wait, I need to post everyday pala. *LOL*
I haven’t decided when I’ll start officially. I might do this by the first day of October, but I realized I’d be somewhere during the last week of next month so I might not be able to post anything. Am I allowed to schedule posts? I mean, just for that last week, I promise! ^_^
I actually found a few 12-day and 7-day challenges that seemed easier to accomplish. There was even a 30-day challenge for losing weight and it’s just funny that it included playing WII. I’m like, what if I didn’t have one? Too bad ’cause the rest of the tasks were something I’d like to do myself. I’d probably take it on and just edit some tasks that I can’t really accomplish because of lack of tools or equipment. Or will that count as breaking the rules of these types of blogging challenges?
If you have any other suggestion, please, let me know! I’m still having second thoughts about my first run. Am I allowed to plan ahead? ^_^
